JOGMEC CO2-EOR Guideline Published

Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC) has developed and published the “JOGMEC’s guideline for safe, long-term containment of CO2 using CO2-EOR (JOGMEC CO2-EOR Guideline).” It will apply its knowledge and experiences in developing natural resources and strengthen its support for CO2-EOR projects in which Japanese companies participate.

Asia Green Growth Partnership Ministerial Meeting 2021

The ‘Asia Green Growth Partnership Ministerial Meeting (AGGPM)’ will be held for the first time on 4 October 2021 hosted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan. Ministers from Asia and other relevant countries, as well as representatives of international organisations, will be participating in the meeting.

JOGMEC’s New Website ‘CLEAN FUTURE ENERGY’

On 30 September 2021, JOGMEC opened the English version of new website ‘CLEAN FUTURE ENERGY’ in order to introduce the new strategy and activities including ‘Carbon Capture and Storage’, ‘Clean Hydrogen and Ammonia’, and ‘Digital Technology’.

This website showcases JOGMEC’s activities, which aim towards carbon neutral society, as well as enhancing the competitiveness of Japanese companies through the application of cutting-edge technologies. The name ‘CLEAN FUTURE ENERGY’ comes from JOGMEC’s ambition to contribute to the stable energy supply in an environmentally friendly manner.
